This started out with me coming up with a rhythm guitar riff, to which I then added a synthesised melody. I sent a copy to a good friend of mine, who then came up with the lyrics for the first verse. We soon had developed a much more complete song, and I wrote the second verse. James sang these - his voice is a perfect match. He also supplied additional guitar backing and the lead in the instrumental section.

Things were looking good and a few previews were sent to friends when disaster struck with the project being corrupted by a computer glitch. It went on the back burner.

However, it wasn't forgotten and has now not only been recovered, but considerably improved. Most of the original work is there, but the lead from James is improved, and better synth backing.

As I said, James is a good friend, so any proceeds will be split equally between us.

sitting here with rod and line.

Here I'm sittin',
wond'rin' what to use as bait.
There ain't no hurry,
I think maybe that c'n wait.

I'm taking some time out,
